Post-Modernism or Neo-Romanticism

Abstract

Both schools of Romanticism and Post-Modernism have had a significant impact on the development of thoughts, ideas and literary and artistic styles in the history of western society. In this paper, the similarities of schools of Post-Modernism and Romanticism are reviewed from three different points of view; however, the goal is not irrevocably proving the similarity of ideas of Post-Modernism and Romanticism. Therefore, this paper attempts to in-terpret aesthetic characteristics of both schools in limited cases. It, first, pro-vides a framework for evaluating the importance and role of both schools and then informing us about how historical development of visual arts oc-curred in these schools. This research begins with the study and analysis of proposed concepts in a theoretical field. And then, by considering the criteria specified in the related ideas, it provides a general model for understanding and completing more effective components.

Abstract [Persian]

     هر دو مکتب رمانتیسیسم و پست مدرنیسم تأثیرات شگرفی بر تحولات اندیشه‌ها، تفکرات و سبک‌های هنری و ادبی در تاریخ جامعه ی غربی گذاشته‌اند. در این مقاله تشابهات مکتب پست مدرنیسم و مکتب رمانتیسیسم از سه منظر بررسی شده اند، هرچند هدف این نیست که بصورت قطعی اندیشه‌های پست مدرن را از نظر تشابه به رمانتیسیسم ثابت نماییم؛ لذا در این مقاله کوشش شده تا ویژگی های دو مکتب در حوزه ی زیبایی شناسی به صورت محدود تحلیل شود تا نخست چارچوبی برای ارزیابی اهمیت و نقش هر دو مکتب ارائه شود و دوم با چگونگی تکوین تاریخی تصوری که از آن ها در تاریخ هنر وجود دارد؛ آشنا شویم. این مقاله  با مطالعه و تحلیل مفاهیم مطرح شده در حوزه نظری آغاز می شود و از روش توصیفی بهره گرفته است. لذا باتوجه به ماهیت موضوع و مؤلفه های مرتبط، رویکرد حاکم این پژوهش ماهیتاً بنیادی است و متن حاضر نوعی نگاه به موضوع هایی است که جنبه های ذهنی و پیش فرض های مهمی درعصر فعلی دارندکه برای ارزیابی و تحلیل آثار هنری، پس از تعیین مشخصه هایی، مورد بررسی قرار می گیرند.
