An Analysis of Concept Transfer in a Sign Design Workshop

Abstract

Sign design is one of the main graphics training courses taught at universi-ties. Accordingly, to teach this course, an assessment was done to select the best teaching method from myriad existing methods. Classification of the “aesthetic concept transfer” has always had challenges with it but unless the issue is negotiated, the problems will not be resolved.  Hence, the present study aimed to explain the ways which are close to the current state of ad-mission and level of student talent. In recent years, graphics professors have been plagued with many problems that are related largely to the diversity of students. It seems that the present students are distinctly different from the students of two decades ago. Thus, considering gender and age differences together with students’ IQ in similar circumstances, we find it reasonable to identify new and more effective ways of teaching art. In this study, eleven measurement models were used to record output data for each experimental group. The eleven models were identified as the most important ones to the expansion of concept transfer talk. Finally, activities conducted according to the three methods were measured using the eleven models. The study was conducted at Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz and Islamic Azad Uni-versity, Abadan Branch in the academic years of 1389 to 1390.

    طراحی نشانه، یکی از دروس مهم کارگاهی رشته گرافیک در دانشگاه هاست. بر همین اساس برای آموزش این درس از سوی نگارنده سنجشی انجام گرفت، تا از میان شیوه های مختلف، بهترین شیوه برای آموزش انتخاب شود. طبقه بندی موضوع  انتقال مفاهیم زیبایی شناختی همواره چالش هایی به همراه داشته ولی تا موضوع به اشتراک گذاشته نشود، مشکلات همچنان لاینحل باقی خواهند ماند. از این رو این پژوهش سعی در تبیین روش هایی دارد که با وضعیت فعلی پذیرش و سطح استعداد دانشجو نزدیک باشد. در سال های اخیر، مشکلات فراوانی دامن گیر مدرسان رشته گرافیک برای تدریس شده که تا حد زیادی به تنوع دانشجویان این رشته مربوط می شود. به نظر می رسد سطح دانشجویان نسبت به  دو دهه ی قبل تفاوت آشکاری نموده است. از این رو منطقی است با توجه به تفاوت های سنی، جنسیتی و بهره ی هوشیِ دانشجویان در شرایط یکسان به یافتن شیوه های جدید و کارآمدتر آموزش هنر اقبال بیشتری نشان داده شود. در این پژوهش ابعاد مختلف پیش برد درس کارگاه طراحی نشانه مورد بررسی واقع شده است. نتایج به دست آمده بیان کننده ضرورت یافتن شیوه های آموزش در کارگاه مذکور است.
