Providing Desirability Principles and Criteria for Upgrading Space Qualities of the River Side in Dezful In area between ancient bridge and Roodband tomb

Abstract

The urban fabric, ancient hydraulic constructions through the River Dez and the river itself create a potential in the city of Dezful that would be turned into a unique public space, playing a significant role to improve the urban identity of the city.  This study suggests a set of concepts and design techniques to achieve such a public space. The paper is the result of a research on the notion of space and place in urban design process. The re-search was hosted at Islamic Azad University of Dezful in 2010. The study targeted  the South bank of Dezful River – between Ancient Bridge and the Roodband tomb, one of the sites, where ancient hydraulic constructions are located.  The research was a comparative case study; and qualitative analyses were employed to achieve the results.
The research proposed suggestions to design the riverside, aiming at up-grading the quality of the urban landscape at the South bank of Dez River in Dezful. The study can be considered a model for architects and urban designers to deal with similar cases.

   بافت شهری، بناهای آبی باستانی دزفول، به همراه رود دز، پتانسیلی به وجود آورده اند که درصورت توجه به ابعاد، مفاهیم، اصول و معیارهای طراحی فضا، می تواند منجر به تولید فضاهای عمومی منحصر به فردی شود که نقشی اساسی در تقویت هویت شهری دزفول بازی نماید. هدف از این مقاله ، ارائه پیشنهادهایی جهت ایجاد چنین فضایی است. این مقاله در ادامه پژوهشی با عنوان: «تعریف محدوده و بررسی ابعاد گوناگون فضا به منظور بکارگیری مفاهیم آن در طراحی فضای شهری» است که در قالب یک طرح پژوهشی توسط این جانب برای دانشگاه آزاد اسلامی دزفول، در سال 9831 به اتمام رسید. نتایج آن، ارائه پیشنهادهایی جهت طراحی به منظور ارتقاء کیفیت فضایی کناره رودخانه دز در محدودة مذکور می باشد، که می تواند به عنوان راهنما جهت استفاده طراحان شهری و معماران، جهت خلق فضاهای عمومی مورد استفاده قرار گیرد. راهبرد تحقیق، روش های ترکیبی و مطالعه موردی است و از تکنیک های مطالعات کیفی جهت کشف نتایج استفاده شده است.
